Here in Michigan it is bitter cold. In the single digits and sometimes below 0. This has been the hardest part the past week. The snow (although I wish it would melt but cant because of the single digits) just seems to keep coming. So This card seems fitting for us around here! Another new set released from My Favorite Things stamps.
Its called Snowbunny Flopsey!

Enjoy the card!

Supplies-stamps- MFT snowbunny flopsey

Blog Candy---Wish RAK Images

First off I have to say we have finally slowed down this week.
Seems since forever since I have posted!
Seems like forever since I have created!

With my mom visiting us, we have been on a very lazy schedule.
The kids are out of school (until July 7th when my oldest is taking a couple of summer classes to keep her afloat and ready for 7th grade).
Otherwise they go back to school Sept. 2nd, with my one daughter moving on to third grade and my son into second.
I cant believe I will have a seventh grader too!
Still a couple years before the baby goes to kindergarten!
That will be like culture shock for me......no kids at home during the day....I don't think I will know what to do with myself.

So today I got to get into my studio and organize things a bit, with my daughter Kimberly.
Then we got to play.
I am working on a card for the SCS sketch challenge.
Which I will try to post later!

This card I made is just something I threw together.

I received the images from JenniferO from the Wish RAK group on SCS.
The images are from MFT and are Ride'em Cowgirl.
I think they are so adorable and again have added them to my wish list!
Jennifer sent me enough to tide me over.
Maybe my kids will buy them for my birthday!hehe

*Supplies-Ride'em Cowgirl stamp set, So saffron cs, DP from archivers, orange cs, bashful blue cs, certainly celery cs, paper piercer, linen thread, ribbon, pop dots, circle punches, scallop circle punch, stickles, prisma colored pencils and gamasol.

Wow---its early

With Andy on a different shift this week, I thought I was gonna be able to sleep in.
But my mind wont let me fall back to sleep so I guess I should get up and be productive!
I have alot to do today.
I have some last minute scrapbook pages for my sons teacher to finish!
I was hoping to stamp today and fulfill some Wish RAK wishes and get them postal!
I also have to start cleaning, straightening, and hiding things for my daughters communion party this weekend!
Its funny how my room becomes the collect all when we have parties at the house.
If you cant find a place for it, put it in moms room!!LOL
I have the grocery shopping for the party to do in a couple days, we are just doing a simple brunch after mass.
So anyway, I am posting early because I don't know when I will be on the computer again today. I have to pick the kids up after school, make dinner, pick up my daughter from brownies and take my son to and from church classes in addition to helping my oldest with her homework, sit and listen to my son read his daily requirements, and bathe all the kids and get them ready for bed tonight.
Whew I am tired just thinking of it!!LOL
So on to my card!
I love this set but don't nearly use it enough!

Supplies- kraft CS, real red CS, Joanns DP, prisma colored pencils and gamasol, real red ribbon, buttons, pop dots, paper piercer!
Enjoy

More snow and NO school!!!

This card is perfect for today in Michigan!!! At least 5 inches of snow fell last night which has the kids home from school! WooHoo can you say fun??!!
NOT! I have a headache from hearing them fight all morning!LOL
So I locked myself in my scrapbook studio and decided I wasn't leaving until I made a card with another MFT stamp set!
Tonight is the PJ Party on SCS at 9pm est!
This card was made with images I stamped of my friend Lynn's stamps!
I think everything is pretty self explanatory but as always if you have questions let me know!
I used fun flock on the boots and the new SU Chunky Glitter for the snow.*(which after posting I noticed you can't even see it). I used primacolor pencils and gamosol and just matched the colors to the DP by Joann's!
Enjoy!

In honor of MFT stamps PJ party tomorrow!!!!

I have been so lucky today to have my hubby helping me with the kids so I could go downstairs and create this adorable card for my Aunt "Mimi".
Her birthday is this month and she has had a rough couple years. She has lost her hubby 17 years ago, then her daughter 10 years ago and now last year her son!
She said she wants to wrap her last son in bubble wrap!

She has always been the best aunt to me! She loves knick knacks, CRAFTS,
gardening, shopping and pretty crystal things!
I remember as a kid you couldn't run through her very nice sitting room because the glasses in her china cabinet would "cling" together because it is so packed full of beautiful crystal dishes!

She loves to entertain and have all the family over!
Shes the only one I know that still uses fabric napkins when we come over!
She lives a good hour away on an acre of land and we don't get to see her too much.
So I made this cute card for her birthday because she always had horses in her barn when I was growing up!

WOW I am in a rambling mood today!!LOL
Funny how you just start writing about someone and REMEMBER so much!
I love those days!
And wish I could take my kids back to that time and show them how different things used to be!
Enjoy!

Finally getting over the cold just in time for MORE cold and snow!

Funny how as soon as I say I am feeling better we suddenly have a big snowfall coming
our way and I will be sick again! LOL Oh well we are so used to it here in Michigan, seeing as you could have ALL 4 seasons in one 24 hour period!

I got downstairs today and cleaned up my mess from my first stampin up workshop!
Workshop?? Who named it a workshop anyway?? Its defiantly not WORK to me.
It should be called a FUNSHOP! Laundry, dishes and cleaning is work and not at all fun!

OK where was I , oh I cleaned up and do you know that feeling you get when everything is back in its place, that feeling that you have to mess it all up again because your feelin like making something!
That's what I did!!

So here they are!!
The first one is a card for a friend of mine to let her know I miss her and am thinking of her! She is not a scrapbooker or card maker, and I am not sure how often she reads my blog so I am posting it!
She is going to culinary school and she is an excellent baker! She makes all my kids birthday cakes and is currently gonna start soon on my daughters communion cake!! They taste awesome and look wonderful!
We don't really see each other as often as we should, but you know how it is when life is crazy! But I will try and call her very soon!

The next one was just something I have been meaning to stamp. I had ordered this set from MFT awhile ago and never inked it up!
So I decided to make a 5x5 birthday card. By the way does anyone know where I can find 5x5 size envelopes??
I didn't think about it till I had the card finished! I like making the bigger cards especially for MFT cards or Bellas! So now I have a stack I have made but cant send cause I don't have any envelopes!!UGH!

If there's anything you have questions about, just ask! I have rambled so much I decided not to list my supplies!
Enjoy!
