Cards, cards and more cards!

This first card I had a rough go with! It has changed so many times I lost count! But I finally decided on something and LOVE how it turned out! I need to make more of this design to send out for Christmas!

This card I threw together on Thanksgiving to give to my Father In Law for his birthday Friday and then forgot it at home! Isnt that always the way!UGH So I hope that my hubby dropped it off today when he was there!LOL

As always thanks for looking!

A new fella card

I received this image from Michelle, she is a fellow SBS7.
I think this fella needs to go on my wish list because he turned out wonderfully!!!

Well I don't feel up to creative "par" yet, so to speak! But I think I am on my way back to finding my MOJO!
I believe we get burned out sometimes.
I have been creating non-stop for weeks now, and I think I just needed to rest my brain. LOL

I have a HUGE crop I am attending on Sat. Feb 2.
Its an anniversary crop for the Little Scrapbox!!!
I am very excited because I will get a chance to catch up on my scrapbooking!!
I haven't scrapbooked in sometime since I have been concentrating on filling my card boxes.

I have also been pondering about being a demo for SU!
If you could leave a comment for me about the ups and downs of being a demo, maybe it will help me make my decision.

Hope your having a GREAT weekend!!!!

Manly birthday

This is the only set that I have to make a manly birthday card with!
I think they turned out great but I think I am getting sick of this bear. lol
I would rather run my head into a brick wall instead of trying to make a (man) card.lol. If you could tell me what set you use to make a man birthday card I would love the suggestions!!
Enjoy.

Supplies:
*Stamps- Wildlife Reserve
*Paper- DP wintergreen, creamy caramel, chocolate chip, always artichoke, white
*Ink- black, SU watercolor pencils, aqua brush
*Accessories- silver square brads, brown ribbon, photo corner punch, revolution embossing folder.

Lets hear it for the boy...........

Wasn't that a song like way back when? 1986-87? Anyway I am always looking for stamps I can buy to make a mans birthday card. So when I found this set at My Favorite Things, I had to have it, not because it was for a mans birthday but because it also has grandparents and fathers day on it too!!!So this is (but yet another pocket card) a happy birthday card for a relaxing guy!! Sorry that the image is not real crisp but since there is NO sun here in Michigan its hard to get a good clear photo with my camera!! Enjoy! Supplies:white card stock, DP from Joanns stack pack, green and blue card stock, ticket corner punch(which I love as you can tell),colored pencils and gamasol. ****Update-took a better picture today and it worked out great cause there was actual sun!!!hehe

Not just a Hobby

I am into scrapbooking to say the least. I used to work at a small scrapbook store and of course was familiar with stamping, but did not get into as deeply as I am until my friend signed up as a demonstrator of Stamping Up. I have not signed as a demonstrator, but you would not know that to look at my scrapbook supplies. You never know maybe someday when I am not as busy with the kids. I have really grown as a stamper and decided to start a business as a handmade card maker, and sell them to friends, family, and at craft shows.
So here is a card I made to sell. I think it is very hard for me to make a masculine card so I am very happy how this turned out.

Always Artichoke card stock for the card, stamped with a retired background stamp from stamping up. Trees from Lovely as a Tree and the bear from Wildlife Preserve stamped in black and colored in with the aqua brush and stamping up inks. Then I matted it with creamy carmel then with chocolate chip stamped with canvas. Also used some chocolate chip corners . Creamy carmel torn piece with three brown brads.
