WOW!! Three Days

I am very excited today as I pack up my scrap booking stuff for my much needed weekend away with the girls.
A few of us are going to the Creme of the Crop in Fenton, Mich.
Some of us have been there before and say it is absolutely awesome.
I have not been there yet but looking quite forward to getting away from the everyday grind, relaxing, scrapbooking and having fun with friends!
And lets not forget EATING! The lady that runs the bed and breakfast is like a gourmet cook and uses alot of healthy, fresh ingredients. Doesn't matter what I am eating at this point as long as I don't have to cook!!LOL
We will miss our good friend Lynn, who cant make it along this time.
I have a few ideas of what I am gonna work on but I have probably over packed.
I need to make my son's TEAM chipboard book with all his T-ball pictures!
I just received 215 photos in the mail from Kodak!
So I think I will be able to keep myself busy!

While I was down there packing, I was creating also!
Here is the first card I made is a "Wish You Were Here" card.
It is a very bright colored summery card!

Supplies-Riley stamped image, Its beautiful wheel, tempting turquoise cs and ink,, green galore cs, real red cs, whisper white cs, photo corner punch, rhinestones, real red ribbon, tempting turquoise ribbon, wish you were here saying from MFT, prisma colored pencils and gamosol, revolution dots embossing folder.

I love these Riley stamps but don't have any of my own.
I got this image from the Wish RAK group I belong, too!

The next card I made is from the promotion from SU.
Its a preview from the new catalog that comes out in August.
You may purchase this stamp set in June, you can order it now if you are a demo.
I used the note cards that I ordered to coordinate with the stamp set but cut it down and layered it to fit nicely on a 5x5 card.

Supplies- Fresh cuts stamp set, Old olive cs and ink, more mustard cs, elegant eggplant cs and ink, black ink, white cs, sponge, always artichoke ribbon, old olive ribbon, pop dots, dazzling diamonds, rhinestone brad.
I am off to do some more work for my sons teacher!

Updates!!!

I have alot to talk about today!
I have been MIA because of Easter and what happened at our house when we got home.
Easter was great, until we arrived home.
The dog had somehow gotten my lipstick and chewed it up all over my new carpeting!!!
Now mind you I was mad about the carpeting but also about the lipstick.
I buy Mary Kay(which I have loved for years!)
Anyone that knows Mary Kay knows that their lipstick is EXPENSIVE. $12.00 per tube. Plus it was a brand new tube!!UGHHHHHH!!

I went to punish the dog and made contact with the first swing and tried to backhand her as she was running away and came in contact with the molding on the edge of the doorway! Needless to say I am still in pain, and regretting the whole thing!
Had an x-ray and have my hand in a splint!UGH

Have you ever typed with out your thumb, its very difficult when your used to doing things a certain way. And of course its my right hand which I use for everything!
Just think for a second about how often you use your thumb!!LOL

We did finally get it out of the carpeting, we have this awesome cleaner we bought from home depot, called Odoban! Works great on all stains!


OK next subject.
I have to say a big thank you to my bella sistah, Carol.
She sent me a beautiful card, Bella's images and some flowers and baubles!

Also I entered the SCS wish Rak group and have been receiving alot of stuff!!
Thank you to everyone who has sent me things!

My fourth up line, Sherrie Robinson, sent me a great card for signing up to be a stampin up demo! She sounds great and I can't wait to meet her at her next meeting in May!

What a nice surprise!!

Isn't it great when your think your having the worst day....SURPRISE, something shows up in the mail!
I had joined the Wish RAK group over at SCS awhile ago, and never went through and read all the rules.
This weekend I decided to get into it and post my wishes!
As you have seen in a previous post I had sent out 3 Wish RAK's to people!
So I have defiantly started something I think I am gonna be addicted to!
Here is a picture of my first Wish that was granted by Denise (SCS name-peanutbee).

So since I have no Easter stamp sets I decided to make a card to send to my mom!
I used SU certainly celery, so saffron, and pretty in pink CS.
I used versamark and the sprinkles stamp set on the pink and celery.
I colored all images with colored pencils and gamosol!
I added some ribbon and dew drops for alittle extra something!!

Bella's, Bella's, Bella's

I love, love, love the Bella's! As you can tell!!
So the Bella cards are for the RAK's I am sending out!
I hope they enjoy them as much as I did making them!!!!
I joined the WISH-RAK group on SCS.
When I first read the rules I thought, OMG this is too involved!
But the more I found out about it, I thought this is pretty cool!
Basically you get three wishes a day!
And the more wishes you fulfill you rack up bonus wishes!
You post what your looking for whether it be a stamped image, brads, buttons, ribbon, DP.
Whatever you are looking for!
As long as you list the company if it is not SU!
But each thing you ask for is a separate wish!
So I am fulfilling 3 wishes I found in which I have what they are asking for!
Some are quite old and have not been fulfilled, so I am sure it will be a nice surprise to finally receive what they have asked for!
