Finally got some work done today!

And you can tell by the mess I left on my workspace. LOL
Now I need to clean up again if I plan on getting anything done tomorrow.
Let me tell you, I do plan to get one scrapbook page or 3D item and at least one card done! Everyday! That is a personal goal I am setting for myself!

So today's first project was a scrapbook page. Now I had every intention of following a sketch but it just wouldn't work, so I altered it quite a bit!
I have been trying to get away from all these pages that all look the same with a gazillion photos on them. I LOVE how it turned out!





Supplies-Joann's DP, brown cs, creamy caramel cs, pretty in pink CS, photo corner punch, snowflakes cut out of sugar paper by Doodlebug and the Revolution snowflake die, SU rub-on, creamy caramel marker and white gel pen.


The next thing I made was a flap card. You can find the tutorial here.
I used the Elzybells image I received from the Wish RAK group at SCS. I had some of this doodlebug DP (which if it has doodlebug on it I am using it) that I had to use on this card! I think it turned out adorable, What do you think?

What a nice surprise!!

Isn't it great when your think your having the worst day....SURPRISE, something shows up in the mail!
I had joined the Wish RAK group over at SCS awhile ago, and never went through and read all the rules.
This weekend I decided to get into it and post my wishes!
As you have seen in a previous post I had sent out 3 Wish RAK's to people!
So I have defiantly started something I think I am gonna be addicted to!

So since I have no Easter stamp sets I decided to make a card to send to my mom!
I used SU certainly celery, so saffron, and pretty in pink CS.
I used versamark and the sprinkles stamp set on the pink and celery.
I colored all images with colored pencils and gamosol!
I added some ribbon and dew drops for alittle extra something!!

18 hours of cropping!!!!

I know that alot of people like to shop on Black Friday, well I like to scrapbook. I am not a big shopper, I like to go into a store and find what I want and leave. Quick and to the point! Plus I don't really like crowds, so when my friend Bonnie said the store she works at, The Little Scrapbox, was having a 18 hour crop-I said sign me up!! I met my other friend, Aunt Linda there at about 7 am. We had so much fun!!! Food, friends, raffles, hourly prizes, guessing game, page contest......what more could we ask for. I got 18 pages done for my scrapbook which I will share with you within the next few days. But first a card I made using a Elzybell stamp that I love!!!Enjoy.

Red and Green aren't the only christmas colors....

I decided to follow in Dawn Easton footsteps and use pink and blue for a christmas card that I submitted to Beate's weekend sketch challenge card. I did change my circle to a rounded square because I seem to have miss placed my circle coluzzle. I need to reorganize so I can find things better. Thank you to Dawn for inspiring me!!
