Scrapbooking Again

As I promised yesterday I am posting some more scrapbooking pages I made while at my friends house! I hadn't scrapbooked in so long before this, I feel kind of rusty!LOL
Here are some more pages I made of my Memories Manor trip!
I put the rhinestones on the first page so it looks like a chandelier! Mind you I bought the rhinestones in that design already I didn't make it that way, but thought it was cool none the less!

The next set of pages is also from the Manor, but is not totally finished because on the second page I want to enlarge the picture since that is the only picture I am using on that page! I actually stamped on that page also, which I normally don't do very often!

Scrapbooking

I got to get together with two of my favorite mingler friends over the holiday at one of their houses for a chance of scrapbooking/stamping all day! It was so lovely! We had so much fun chatting, laughing, eating and scarpbooking/stamping!
So I thought I would share with you a couple of pages I finished while there!
This first set of pages is of my youngest daughter Ella at the beach! The problem I find though is I take SO MANY photos and feel I have to use them all I have a hard time finding a layout large enough to do that! So this page ended up without a title which I have NEVER done before!
I just love these pictures of her. I would really like to know what she was thinking, she has such and expressive face!

The next double page layout is from when I went to Memories Manor with some friends of mine! I absolutly LOVED that place and am actually in the works of planning another trip with some mingler friends of mine!WOOHOO

I love how these pages turned out, but I really am more of a "cutesy" kind of creator! I find anything serious or heritage very hard! But maybe because I feel so passionate about these photos is why I could create these pages!

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my scrapbooking which was my first passion!
I have more to show you so make sure you check back soon!
Enjoy

One, Two, Three, AWWWWW

As you may know my youngest broke her hand awhile ago so of course I had to make a page to remember this time in her life. She was a trooper. She held still for X-rays, was great for the wrapping of the cast and laughed through the cutting off of it! Which really surprised me! She then wanted another put back on!LOL We thought we would have a problem with her not using her hand, but she is back to her normal self and loves looking at this page and saying," I got a Boo-Boo, my bone was broken!"

Another Challenge

Here is another challenge entry for Mothers and Daughters Creations!
You had to make a scrapbook page using some type of hidden picture, or journaling!

I decided to write my journaling on a tag and tuck it behind the picture.

Now for anyone who knows me you know I very rarely journal. I kind of set it aside and figure I will journal later! So while blurfing today I found this post about how you should always finish your pages. IF you are going to read it, get some tissue!
So today I finished this page, including journaling!!YIPEE!

Back to Scrapbooking!

I saw something on SCS the other day and went to check them out! SO I decided to play along with Mothers and Daughters Creations!
You can check out the challenge here! I love working with sketches anytime I can when doing a scrapbook page or card! But the one thing I like the best is you don't have to stick to it exactly!
The trees are made with a photo corner punch! I love this idea! The ornaments are Bella Baubles!I incorporated the baubles down the left side of the page also!

I love this picture of the kids from last Christmas! Aren't they cute?
Thanks for looking as always!
Enjoy

Supplies- figgy pudding designer paper, bella baubles, photo cornet punch, white cs, green cs, star buttons, black alphabet stickers.

Vacation Pages

I am sharing my vacation pages with you today!
In August we took the kids to Cedar Point and they had a blast!
My sister went with us and the kids really enjoyed spending time with their Aunt Debbie!

This next double page layout is of the kids at Camp Snoopy! What fun they had!
They rode the rides over and over again, and never tired of them!

The last layout is the kids on the Merry Go Round! I think we spent half the time at the park on the Merry Go Round! Ella especially loved, although I get sick on it. So Andy (dad) was the one riding with them!

Thanks for looking!

3 more pages!

Here are some more of the pages I did when I was at the crop!
I am so far behind on Christmas pages. They seem like the hardest pages I have to make. I guess its because I take so many pictures, plus we go to so many places for Christmas.
This first page is pictures from Kimberly in Kindergarten. She is in 3rd grade now so you see how behind I am!

This double page layout is from my husbands side of the family, which is usually where we go for Christmas Eve.

The last layout I am showing you is Christmas Morning 2005. Wow, seems like yesterday! Look how small Ella is!LOL

13 pages in 14 hours!!!

Also I entered my layout in the contest and took 2nd place!!!I was SO excited!
So here is the winning page!

Another School Layout

Remember the school layouts I made HERE. This next one is my oldest daughters first day of school!!!She looks so grown up. I am surprised she actually let me take her picture!LOL

I am still preparing for camp on Friday night so that's why my post is short!
See you tomorrow!
Enjoy!

scrapbook challenges

My blogging friend Thea at Say it with Ink has a scrapbook challenge everyday this month and I find myself playing along! She has great ideas for pages. The first one I decided to do was to scrapbook your hobby, or something you collect on 9/6. Well, if you know me at all you know that I absolutely LOVE Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh!!! I have 100 stuffed animals packed away, thousands of shirts or sweatshirts, and a million figurines!!!
So I when we took the girls (cause that's all we had at the time, so long ago) in 2000 I just had to get my picture with him. I remember Heather who was 4 at the time was mad at me for getting my picture taken and that I didn't want anyone else standing with us. LOL So here's my take on Eeyore!

The next one I did was for the 9/17 challenge to use brown and one other color, and three different embellishments. I did OK but kinda cheated by adding a white border to the whole page. These pictures were from our trip from Great Wolf Lodge.

I am off to do some laundry and prepare for another school day!
Enjoy

School Layouts

These two double page scrap layouts are a challenge from Thea over at Say It With Ink. On 9-4-08 she challenged us to make a layout with school pictures. So after I took the kids pictures from the first day of school I made these two adorable layouts.
This is the layout for my daughter that's going into 3rd grade! She is a excited about being in 3rd grade!

This is my sons page of him going into 2nd grade! He loves his teacher and cant wait to learn everything he can!
I still have to make my oldest daughters page!
Enjoy
P.S. Thanks to Thea for the challenge to get me off my butt and to start scrapping again.

Snow Day

This scrapbook page was for a challenge on the demo side of SCS!
I very rarely do demo only challenges! But I had fun doing this.
These two pages are made with ALL SU products.
And I am totally loving this Sticky Cuts Letters with the Fine Cosmo Glitter!
Both of these things I received from my Bella Sistah- Carol!
Thanks again Carol!

*Supplies---brilliant blue, bashful blue, only orange, old olive, jersey shore DP, Sticky Cut Letters, Fine Cosmo glitter, coluzzle, circle punch.

Hello ALL

I have been missing my daily posts because there is alot going on. My kids have school until Wednesday of next week and then they will be out for the SUMMER. I have been busy helping out at school binding scrapbooks, going on field trips(bowling), having picnics(at school), blowing up the wade pool(45 minutes later, WHEW), washing laundry(which is everyday).........UGH!
These are my excuses, I hope they are good enough!LOL

I am attending the Little Scrapbox crop tomorrow, but am gonna be late because my son has t-ball, and my daughter has a brownie meeting movie day. But I will be happy once I get there and get some projects finished. I have quite a few swaps I need to get done from SCS. They are all due July 1st and I already feel like I am cutting it close! But they are fun and I don't have to mass produce a whole lot.

Then Sunday is my hubby's birthday. He's turning 39 and not looking forward to it.
I think I am going to let him sleep in most of the day. While he's sleeping I will take the kids to pick up some last minute presents. Then I have to swing by the grocery store and pick up a huge steak, potatoes(to bake on the grill) and some veggies for a salad! I want to make him feel like he is a king for the day. He does alot of stuff around the house, helps me whenever he can, works hard everyday, and makes me feel special EVERYDAY! I want him to know how special he is to us. And then we get to do it all over again next weekend for Father's Day!

So here are two pages I worked on at my retreat. Which I must say I find myself looking back in my mind about that wonderful weekend, especially when I am having a bad day!LOL
These pages are from our trip to Great Wolf Lodge in February.

The first one is of the clock tower show that they had in the lobby at night. It was very cute and the kids loved it to relax before bed. The whole lobby is animated and comes to life, sings and dances and includes the audience in participation!

This page is made with pictures that we took in our room. It was very "cabiny" looking. With snow shoes hanging on the wall and moose lamps on the end tables.
If you have any questions about the recipe for my pages just shoot me an email.
Enjoy
Its getting late!

How Sweet is Deb?

I received this RAK in the the mail from Deb over at Sharing My Obsession!

The card is adorable and she also sent me some BikerBella images.
Thank you very much Deb!

This chipboard word book Friend is one of the ones I decorated while on retreat!
I love how it turned out.
The paper is so bright and cheery!
And the ribbon and flowers match perfectly!

This double page layout is a sketch from Becky Higgins book.
The pictures (which I don't have alot of) were from my son's valentines party at school.
The kids love the valentines party because we always have an ice cream sundae party.

I hope to get some things organized and created today.
Its kinda dreary and I think it doesn't know if it wants to rain or not.
Enjoy

Three more pages-All of Great Wolf Lodge

Here are some more pages I did on my weekend retreat.

These pictures were taken in the lobby of great wolf lodge while we were waiting for the clock tower show to start! I will have those pages of the show for you tomorrow!

This page is from pictures in the resturant that was in GWL. We had ordered our food and were watiing, waiting, waiting for it to finally arrive. I liked the pictures so I had to scrap a page!

I didnt get any good pictures of the inside of the waterpark at Great Wolf Lodge. So I still added the blury ones. Those are three of my four kids holding there arms over their heads while the bucket of water was falling!

Sorry its a short and sweet post today. I have another migraine and was seen by a doctor today. Have to call tomorrow and see another doctor. Also have to get an MRI. YUCK!
So if theres anything you have a question about just zip me an email and I will be happy to answer you!
Enjoy

OMG

All I can say is I had the BEST time of my life this past weekend!!!!
The girls and I had a blast!

We were truly pampered! And the food was fantastic. Connie(the owner of the bed and breakfast) cooks healthy, hearty home cooked meals from scratch!
If you are in Michigan, Canada or Ohio it would be a HIGHLY recommended place to check out and plan as a weekend getaway! You can check out all the details here!
I got two Bo Bunny chipboard word books (friend and Team) done and 20 (12x 12) scrapbook pages accomplished!
I will share two layouts with you now. These are two of my favorite pages that I made this weekend. My friend Bonnie bought Becky Higgins sketch book and I refered to it alot! But one of these sketches I found at Pencil Lines. And now they have their sketches on their blog to be downloaded for your use!

This one is the Becky Higgins sketch. It was very simple page but I love it none the less. The presents was from the Celebrations cricut cartridge, and the title presents was from the cricut cartridge Makin' the Grade. I used the SU word window punch and stamped Birthday on it and added white brads to it. I also pop dotted it. I used the SU photo corner punch with white cs and distressed all paper with white stazon. I also corner rounded the light lavendar cs.

This layout took me the longest to do because of the detail, but I absolutely LOVE this page! Alot of the embellishments are from the cricut cartridge Celebrations.
I also used my revolution to cut the circles and the scallop nestibillites. I stickled just about everything on this page except the pictures and the ribbon!
Remember you can click on the pictures to see them up close!
Enjoy!
