Happy Easter!

Oh my goodness it has been so long since I have posted to my blog and I am truly sorry! I have been very busy and just haven't found the time to do it!
I went to the 3rd Annual Michigan Mingle in Novi and had a blast with my stamping friends! You will have to come back and see the things I made, gifts received from friends and the pictures of the fun we had!
So today I will share two cards I made using ALL Stampin Up stuff to send to some friends! I have really gotten into ALL Stampin Up stuff lately! I am trying to build my business and I really don't have time or money to invest into other stamp companies! PLUS I LOVE STAMPIN UP so very much!!!
The Occasions Mini will be coming to an end soon and the Summer mini will be out soon! I have seen a sneak peek and have ordered a few thigs that I will share with you when I get my order! I am so excited!

So here's the first card I made using the Upsy Daisy stamp set! I made this for a friend who bought me a cute little something for my new Net book! She is so very sweet to me so I had to send her a Thank you card!

I love using pink and chocolate chip together! Doesn't it look pretty??!!

The next card is for my roomies I had at the Michigan Mingle! They made me wonderful gifts, were awesome roommates, And are GREAT friends!

I love this set, which is new to me since I only ordered it during Saleabration! It was a FREE set for me! Isn't it cute?
Hope you enjoyed looking at my cards! Make sure you stop by tomorrow because I have some more cards and pictures to share with you! And hopefully I can get back into posting on a regular basis!
Enjoy!

A Friend Card and a Thank You Card!

I have met some lovely people on SCS! And recently I have actually met them in person! I cant wait until March when alot more of the people I chat with on SCS will all get together for a stamping weekend!
This first card is for someone that participated in the Secret Sister Spook! My secret sister was Ann. She sent my a bunch of lovely things! So I made her this Thank you card! I hope she likes it!

This card is for someone I met at the Mini Mingle also. I was very touched that she was so concerned about me and my migraines! She asked me how I was and if everything was going OK! I was really touched! Emma is such a hoot to hang out with! She has this lovely English accent that I could listen to all day! She is so funny and makes you feel welcomed. She also is willing to teach you what she is doing! You can check out her blog here!I am so glad I met all these lovely ladies!

I made lots of Christmas cards with the new SU set Deer Friends and alot of Thank you cards with the Tart and Tangy stamp set!I hope you like them! Hope everyone is enjoying their day! Its is a beautiful day with the breeze blowing through my open windows! (I know I am shocked too, windows open in michigan in the middle of July and we arent dying from heat stroke!LOL)

Tomorrows another day

It has been almost a week since my last post. I cant believe it!
But I thought my family needed some one on one time with my hubby and I!
I am sorry to all who check in on me quite frequently!
But my hiatus is over for now.
Mind you I havent been blogging but I have been sneaking away when the kids are in the pool or napping and still stamping! LOL

I must say though we didn't do a whole lot except we spent one day in Cedar Point!
The kids had a blast and hubby and I were completely beat by the time we got back to the van at 10:00 pm! The reason we really got to go was because we got GREAT discounted tickets thru Chrysler(where hubby works).
My sister got to go with us and the kids had alot of fun with Aunt Debbie! But she did have an aweful evening because while we were on the Magnum (incase you dont know its one of the higher and newer rollar coasters) she lost her phone.
She had it stuck in the top of her shirt and it flew out on one of the last hills! It wasnt funny at the time, but when I look back and remember seeing this green square thing just kinda hanging in the air which seemed like foreverI start to laugh a bit! Sorry Sis! LOL Here's a picture of us at the fountain!

I have also received my pre-order from Stampin Up! And let me just say I am so excited to see what else they have in store for us in the new catty!! I cant wait much longer I am going thru withdrawals of new Stampin Up stuff!!!
I Love the sock monkey set and the scallop punch is awesome!
So here's my first card with the sock monkey! And I love how it turned out!
This is for a swap I am in on SCS so I hope they like it too!

**Supplies- Sock Monkey, creamy caramel cs, pink piroutte cs, riding hood red cs, Bella rose DP, scallop border punch.
Now I will show you another card for a swap I am in on SCS!
Its a princess pretty pants swap and I love how this turned out too!
These need to get in the mail tomorrow since they are due on Monday!
I was really cutting this close!LOL

Another new card I made was using the Fresh Cuts set!
With the Pink Piroutte cs and Riding Hood Red cs. I love all the new In-colors this year!!

If you have any questions about my cards, don't hesitate to email me!
Thanks in advance!

Will life ever slow down?

Sorry for no posts in awhile! We have had no power from Sunday thru Monday. Of course on one of the hottest days ever. The kids had no school Monday. And their last day is tomorrow- a half a day! Things have been so crazy. I know you are thinking I am always saying that, but its true.

Saturdays crop at the Little Scrapbox was alot of fun considering I didn't get to be there very long. It was a 14 hour crop and I think I was there for actually 6 or 7 hours. My son had t-ball in the morning at the same time my daughter had her last brownie meeting which was a movie (Kung Fu Panda)at AMC theatre. Don't people know that you cant be in 3 places at once? LOL I didn't get to the crop til 1 and I had to leave by 9 because my hubby had to go to work and didn't inform me until the last minute. I cant believe I have a curfew at the age of 35. Oh well, I got some swaps done that I needed to mail, I got 2 other cards done, and 4 scrapbook pages! I was busily working away, since none of my other friends signed up for this crop.

This card I am showing you is a thank you card for Connie at The Creme of the Crop where we stayed for our retreat! When I saw this image I thought of Connie! I love these new stamps, Sugar Nellie's! I found them on someones blog and followed the link to Funky Kits and bought some of them.(I think I am totally showing my age with this comment, but I will say it anyway)I like these images because I think they look like a cross between Precious Moments figurines and a Holly Hobbie Doll. Now some of you may not know what a holly hobby doll is but I had them growing up. I even had all the metal figurines and my grandfather made me a shadow box to put them in to hang on my wall. WOW does that take me back- sorry I went off track!LOL

I have some blog candy coming up---Check it out by the end of the week. I am still buying things for it! And don't forget to check out Ellie's blog for some blog candy as well!
Enjoy and stay cool!

Tonight was Stamp Camp!

We had alot of fun!
I love the ladies that show up, laugh, talk and have fun.
I must say that I ended up making that graduation card, that I said wasnt worthy and they all loved it! I don't know what I was thinking! I guess it grew on me!!LOL
You can check it out here.
We also made a Fathers Day card, which some ladies just changed the sentiment and made it a mans birthdasy card! It was a gift card holder. I saw it on someones blog or SCS, I cant remember so if its yours holla at me and I will post your name as credit! I really need to write things down when I find them.

Then we made a pretty flowered card that could be used as a thank you or as a birthday card. The sentiment on the front says "Your one of a Kind", from the one of the kind stamp set.

*Supplies- tempting turiquose cs and ink, lovely lilac cs and ink, pink passion cs and ink, whisper white cs, One of a kind stamp set, scallop circle punch, boho blossoms punch, designer label punch, black brad, paper piercer, black marker, flowers for you designer paper, ribbon, dazzling diamonds.

The last card was a "moving" card. This made me think of the books my kids have. Again I dont know whose creation this is, mind you I didnt think of the technique but adapted the card to make it a birthday card!

Another flap card!

I was gonna make this at my stamp camp next week, but decided to change my mind and do something else. So I figured I would post it!
I love the flap card and I was lucky enough to find the thin magnets at the Flower Factory on my last visit there!
This stamp set is a hostess set called A Little Bit of Happiness. I am still gonna use this set for a card at Stamp Camp just decided to change things up and not make it so fall looking!
Hope everyone has had a good week! I have been busy getting ready for my daughters communion on Sunday. There is so much "behind the scene" stuff you dont think of when you go to someones house for a party!LOL
We are just having a simple brunch at our house after mass with family and friends.
Kimberly will look so beautiful in her dress. I am sure I will be taking lots of pictures and will post one after the event! So I will be MIA for the rest of the weekend!Hope the weather stays nice but I do beleive they are calling for rain this weekend in Michigan, so keep your fingers crossed for me!LOL
Enjoy!

I am exhausted!!!LOL

Since most of the morning I have been cleaning, cleaning so no one else in the house gets sick, I decided to take a break and go create a few things!!
I had so much fun making these cards.
I didn't want to come back upstairs and snap back into reality but Andy had to run out and Ella is being less then cooperative in taking a nap for me!
Which I don't understand why kids don't want to take naps.....If I could nap everyday I would be in heaven.
I always tell my kids they will defiantly want to nap when they get older but wont seem to find the time!

I started a One Sheet Wonder.
I haven't made one of these since my friend/demo Lynn showed me how in which seems like forever ago!

I tried another challenge today over at SCS. You can find the sketch here.
I had alot of fun with this because I got to use my new set, Happy Heart Day from the new SU catty.

I love this mouse and the elephant is adorable, too.
I cut the mouse out but don't reccomend this. I thought I was gonna lose his tail more then once!!
I used my new chunky glitter from SU. I am not sure if I am liking it yet, I think I need to play some more!!

My back is STILL bothering me tonight, even after this "wonderful" shot I got from the doctor. I think I am gonna put some ice on it and go to bed, soon!!
Enjoy!

*Stamps- Happy Heart Day, Love wheel, Itty Bitty Backgrounds
*Paper- Close to Cocoa, Purely Pomegranate, Pretty in Pink
*Ink- Black, Prismacolor pencils, gamosol, clear embossing

TeacherBella

This card is for a teacher that I just adore. She had my daughter last year and has my son this year! I am giving her this card and some goodies to let her know how much we like having her in our life. I just finished cleaning out my scrap room(also my bedroom)and came across alot of things I bought along time ago and have stockpiled them. So I went through everything and separated things into piles to give away to people that will actually use them! Like the local brownie troop, teachers at school or friends and family. Enjoy!!!Supplies:Deep purple paper to make a pocket card,DP is Whimsical Ladies by daisy bucket design, Teacherbella stamped with black stazon, colored pencils and gamasol, ribbon, brads, paper piercing, ticket punch, decorative scissors, scallop punch, corner rounder, stickles.
