Things have been crazy here. Trying to get the kids ready for school, last minute Dr.s appointments, eye doctor visits, shopping trips. I also have to clean up the yard, winterize the pool, pack for my weekend away, do some last minute shopping for my weekend away. And I have already done 12 loads of wash, cleaned and organized the basement, cleaned and organized the two out of the three kids bedrooms. I am so tired I don't know how much more I can do!LOL
I am going to take total advantage of my weekend away. Four days of nothing to do but what I want. I am taking some scrapbooking/stamping supplies, some reading material, and my bathing suit to sit in the lake! Keep your fingers crossed its a nice weekend.
So on to my card-
I had colored this image awhile ago. It is from the Wish RAK forum over at SCS. I totally LOVE that group! This image is totally out of my comfort zone, I am more of a cutesy kind of girl. I think I did pretty good!LOL
*Supplies- Lockhart image, prisma colored pencils and gamosol, summer picnic DP, kiwi kiss cs, riding hood red cs, bashful blue cs, cherries from the tart and tangy set.
Color Inspiration Challenge
WOW!!!I am so excited that I got another challenge finished! Don't you just love when things fall into place??!! This challenge is from Kristina's Blog. I believe she does these every week. Although this is the first one I have participated in! It was alittle harder then I thought. You were supposed to use black, grey, white and an accent color of your choice. My color choice was Summer Sun! Not sure yet if I like it or not!
I used Baroque Motifs, the border scallop punch, circle scallop punch, ribbon, a brad, summer sun ink, and clear embossing powder!
Enjoy

I have always checked out her sketches but never posted a page.
So I think this is not that bad for a first timer!LOL
I love to scrapbook and I don't think I do it enough!
I had a hard time because I didn't have any Tiger or baseball embellishments but I am happy with how I pulled it off!!Thanks so much for looking!

Its a beautiful day in the neighborhood!!
I did get to stamp tonight, and I was very excited since I got a two new wishes from the Wish RAK over at SCS in my mailbox today! I love this image and have added it to my "wish list"!! My wish list is as long as my arm now!LOL
I used the Color Challenge 180 on SCS. I love these colors together! Blush blossom, Ruby red, Close to cocoa. I used the new border scallop punch, and then I used my whole punch to make it look old fashioned. I stamped flowers from the sprinkles set on the close to cocoa card base. I colored my image with Stampin Up markers. I love how the card turned out!
This other card is for a friend that recently had a accidental death happen to someone very close to her. These images are the cutest ever! I finally got to put some ink on this Sweet Ebony stamp! So I thought I would send it to her because she has been on my mind alot lately even before this tragic accident happened.
The colors I used for this card are cameo coral, bashful blue, and summer sun. I also incorporated last weeks Sketch Challenge 189 from SCS. I love how it turned out and I hope she likes it!

Its Sunday Already??!!
I cant believe I havent stamped since Wednesday! Time flies when you cant stamp!
I think the weekend flew by too fast, also. Soon the kids will be going back to school and I will have to schedule my stamping time. Things will have to be put in a routine and it seems like my "stuff" (stamping/scrapbooking) comes in last place.
With four kids I am surprised I have enough time to shower! But somehow I do survive!LOL
Here is a project I have been working on for a bit. Now when you look at it you will probably say, "You have?". I don't think it looks like much but it has been hard for me because I didn't know HOW to decorate it!
Actually I didn't know how I WANTED it decorated. I saw these cute little purses in the Oriental Trader Scrapbooking Magazine. So I bought a few and once the new SU Fall Winter Catalog pre-order came out I knew I wanted to use the Bella Rose Designer Series Paper to decorate it!
I think it still needs something. If you have any suggestions please don't hesitate to left me know by leaving a comment. Thanks in advance!
*Supplies- bella rose designer series paper, red riding hood ink, kiwi kiss paper, border scallop punch, sticky letters, chunky red glitter, choc chip ribbon
Also I need to pick someone to send alittle something special to, from my post here. My daughter picked number 8 so,
Congrats to Eve at This is Bliss.
Eve if you could email me your address I will get your goodies out in the mail! Thanks for stopping by my blog and letting me know what you liked/disliked about it!
I have my first club meeting this Friday and am excited to share a great project with them. I am hoping to get into the "cave" tomorrow and finish preparing for it and finish some challenges! Wish me luck!LOL
