Who Am I???

I found this in the book Chicken Soup for the Scrapbookers Soul and thought I would share it with all of you!

I am special, unique and priceless. I make people smile, laugh, cry and remember. I am quiet, yet speak volumes. I am a work of art and a labor of love. I'm like a member of the family because I share every birthday, holiday, reunion, accomplishment and disappointment. I also share everyday moments and remember secrets you forgot you shared. I am simple, beautiful and ornate. I'll speak for you when you no longer speak. I'll share who you are and what you did with generations to come, just as I introduce you to your ancestors.
I've taught you art when you thought yourself inept. I taught you creativity when you thought yourself unimaginative. You have gained confidence through me. You have made friends because of me. You have spent countless hours remembering your family and friends, to share them with me in just the right way.
You have changed since our relationship began. You have become more introspective. You have learned to live in the moment. You appreciate your blessings and accept your trials, knowing they all contribute to who you are. You think of me at unlikely moments, roll your eyes and laugh at yourself, knowing it will happen again. You've poured your heart out to me when you weren't ready to share with anyone else. And I've held your secrets until you were ready to share. You give me your treasures and keepsakes, and I give you a glimpse of who you are like no mirror ever could. Our friendship is endless.
