Finally NO rain!

I hope you all out there in blogland had a very Happy Mothers Day.
We had an uneventful day here. The kids made me breakfast in bed.
Then we went to my MIL's for brunch (which I didn't eat cause I was so full).
It was rainy and cold, you just wanted to be in bed curled up!
We spent a lazy day doing much of nothing.
Andy cooked me a great dinner when we got home.
He is the best hubby ever!

So today we finally saw some sun!!
Its still cool but not as bad as the weekend!
I haven't created ALL weekend and was going thru withdrawals so I put Ella to bed this afternoon for a nap and snuck down to my studio for some stamping time.
I got these stamps on Saturday when I went on a road trip with Bonnie to the Mega Meet.
We also hit a wonderful scrapbook/stamping store in Northville. We then went across main street to alittle place we usually visit for lunch called Rebecca's. Its family owned and they have superb food. After lunch we were off to The Scrapbook Zone in farmington.

Anywho I LOVE the bee stamps by stampendous and Changito the monkey, too. I had these two particular stamps on my wish list and just had to buy them when I saw them.

The first card I made using the Biker Bee is an acetate card. I had never made one before so I decided to try it. I used white stazon with the stars jumbo wheel. Then I added real red and brilliant blue stars. I colored the bee with prisma colored pencils and gamosol. It needed alittle something so I used the real red striped ribbon and the corner punch to make a scallop strip to place behind the image. I added some glitter that I bought at the Mega Meet.

This next card is using Changito Chef.
I am in the mood for a burger, I think. LOL
He is so cute isn't he?

This card I decided to make a 5x5 square card.
I used some doodlebug paper I had laying around from another project I had started. I also used real red and brilliant blue CS.
I again colored the image with prisma colored pencils and gamosol.
I wanted to add crystal effects to the grill to make it shiny and new looking but forgot.
I finished it by adding some eyelets!
Enjoy
