Finally, I got some things finished!!!

I got to get into my studio this evening for 2 whole hours of uninterrupted time to create. And let me tell you I got alot accomplished!
I had to make about 20 thank you cards for my daughters communion. I made them very simple except I am not sure if I like them. They are very plain Jane for me. I think they need some ribbon, so its off to Micheal's to try and find some.

I cut purple paper to 5 1/2 by 4 1/4. Then I cut the white paper 8 by 5 1/4 and scored it at 4. Then I punched a 1 3/8" circle punch in the corner. I took my black stazon and stamped my Thanks on the inside of the card so it shows through the circle. I punched a hole using my piercer and used a purple brad to make it look like a tag. Then I applied the scallop punch to the outside of the circle. I sponged the edges with lovely lilac. Does it need ribbon?? I think so.

So on to the next item. I had started this adorable door hanger once I came home Sat from a trip to the Little Scrapbox. I found this great new Bo Bunny paper and HAD to use it. Since my studio is in the basement the kids think they can just come down and start playing when I am trying to work. I thought this would work!
I guess we will see.

I covered the hanger with the Bo Bunny paper and then sponged bordering blue on the edges after I sanded them. I used the schoolbook serif alpha set in bordering blue ink on punched white circles matted on cameo coral. The "creating" letters were stickers. I used circle punches and the big flowers set. The scallop punch, bordering blue, so saffron and cameo coral cs. Lots of stickles and some silver brads finishes the project! Now lets see if it works!!!LOL
Sorry this is a long post. I will post my better late then never challenge cards tomorrow for Beates sketch challenge and Jen Del Muro's sketch for you to try!
Have a great night
Enjoy!

Here it is.........

The finished card for my daughters communion in April.
I know I have some time but when I know I have to do something it eats at me til I am done, so why not do it now!!!
Plus I just have to make about 50 more!!!
Can you say assembly line??
All the crosses are stamped and colored, the cards are cut.
I still have to cut the ribbon, send the white shimmer paper thru the revolution, versamark the cards with swirls, corner round the card, attach everything and add stickles to the cross!!!
The finished one turned out wonderful!!
Enjoy
