Day 3 of the Mothers and Daughters Creations First Annual Mothers and Daughters Traditions Blog Roll

The Mothers and Daughters Mothers Day Traditions Blog Roll brings two challenges today and two chances to win a wonderful hand made treasure box.

Visit Cathy’s blog for some innovative ways to do really special things with hand made boxes and gift bags. She’s posting templates and a detailed tutorial for Part 1 of our Fabulous Floral Three Part Challenge. And if you need a last minute gift idea (need something to put in that gift bag), stop by Kathryn’s blog.

Leah, and Giovana and I have made some gorgeous samples for these challenges. Take a peek here.
Heres my covered journal that I think any mother would love!

What do you think?

Need some general info about the blog roll? You can find it on the MDC Challenge Blog.

Enjoy!

MDCC- Lace paper

This weeks challenge over at Mothers and Daughters Creations was to use lace paper in a unique way. I had a difficult time with this, so here's what I did. I made my lace paper look like lattice and my flowers were growing in front of the lattice!

Don't forget to check out what the other designers made over at MDC! And please play along with us, we would love to see what you have come up with!!

MDCC Paper Piercing Challenge

This weeks Mothers and Daughters Card Creation Challenge is to make a card with paper piercing on it! I used some SEI paper that is shimmery, and I just love it! I also colored the butterfly with copic markers.

Don't forget to go to the MDC website to see what the other designers have come up with and play along to see what you can win!!!

Another Valentines??!!

Isn't this image adorable? You can go to Mothers and Daughters Creations Store and buy the stamp there! You should check it out here! I decided to color the image with my prisma colored pencils and gamosol to give it a soft look! The papers I used are from a Basic Grey paper pack called Ambrosia. This card will be used for a Valentines card but not really your traditional colors are they? What do you think of this card?

Enjoy!
