Could it get any hotter??

I guess it could, but boy is it a scorcher outside, yesterday wasn't so bad but TODAY is SUPER HOT! The humidity is very high here in Michigan and I am sitting here in the cool air conditioned house, blogging! Life couldn't be better......unless.....I had a margarita!LOL
Yesterday we went to my dads house to see a guy carve his tree stump! OMG I have never seen anything so cool. He started at like 9 am and was still carving at 4 pm when we left. Today hes supposed to be painting and staining it. I do have a picture to share with you.

The end result will be an eagle holding a fish with a bear trying to get the fish! I can wait to see the finished project and will post a picture as soon as I can!

*as always you can click on the picture to enlarge it to see the detail!
Now on to my project for today! I also have to give you some history on this on. My "step" mom Pam (dads gf) made me and my friends some AWESOME shirts, embroidered with our club name on them! She is so cool to do that for us and in turn she only asked that we make some projects for her to raffle off at a car show this weekend! So one friend made a paper bag book, another gave a card with a movie gift card in it and I made this box with cards in it and a paper bag book! I hope she raises alot of money for their car club! So I am showing you the box with cards in it!

Now heres another project I saw on Renee's blog! I love how it turned out and think I am going to make some as christmas presents! They are made with coasters and you are to place them on a table or mantle!
I used the NEW DP from SU!! I just love this paper and definatly have to order more!!!! A picture of the front!

A picture of the inside!

Enjoy

We have a gentlemen that lives by us that does the wood carvings and they are so amazing! Love the card holder!! This weekend I'm going to attempt to make a coster frame but my coasters maybe to think, I'll have to try it though.

That is amazing. I have never seen a carving with that much detail. Very cool, can't wait to see the finished artwork either.

You have been very busy making such cute projects.

Oh and apparently your not suppose to use the bumper because if a baby rolls into it they can sufficate. I know not too many years ago you were suppose to use them, now they (whoever "they" are) changed their mind.
