Will life ever slow down?

Sorry for no posts in awhile! We have had no power from Sunday thru Monday. Of course on one of the hottest days ever. The kids had no school Monday. And their last day is tomorrow- a half a day! Things have been so crazy. I know you are thinking I am always saying that, but its true.

Saturdays crop at the Little Scrapbox was alot of fun considering I didn't get to be there very long. It was a 14 hour crop and I think I was there for actually 6 or 7 hours. My son had t-ball in the morning at the same time my daughter had her last brownie meeting which was a movie (Kung Fu Panda)at AMC theatre. Don't people know that you cant be in 3 places at once? LOL I didn't get to the crop til 1 and I had to leave by 9 because my hubby had to go to work and didn't inform me until the last minute. I cant believe I have a curfew at the age of 35. Oh well, I got some swaps done that I needed to mail, I got 2 other cards done, and 4 scrapbook pages! I was busily working away, since none of my other friends signed up for this crop.

This card I am showing you is a thank you card for Connie at The Creme of the Crop where we stayed for our retreat! When I saw this image I thought of Connie! I love these new stamps, Sugar Nellie's! I found them on someones blog and followed the link to Funky Kits and bought some of them.(I think I am totally showing my age with this comment, but I will say it anyway)I like these images because I think they look like a cross between Precious Moments figurines and a Holly Hobbie Doll. Now some of you may not know what a holly hobby doll is but I had them growing up. I even had all the metal figurines and my grandfather made me a shadow box to put them in to hang on my wall. WOW does that take me back- sorry I went off track!LOL

I have some blog candy coming up---Check it out by the end of the week. I am still buying things for it! And don't forget to check out Ellie's blog for some blog candy as well!
Enjoy and stay cool!

How adorable! I love it! I checked out the site but I get it to convert to US funds. Can you help me when you have a second? I really want to order some (wink) stamps.
