Wow!! Has it been almost a week since I posted?
Doesn't seem that long ago but I guess it has been!
We have been having some problems with the kids here, and super busy getting ready for Stamp Camp tomorrow night! Those are my only excuses, sorry!
So I made this cute box that you could put a candy bar, gift card, any little trinket really! This box is fairly easy, and you can make it any size!
Determine what size you want. I picked 4 inches (which is the size of the top) then add 2 inches to that, one inch for each side. So I cut my square 6 inches by 6 inches and score at 1 inch in from each side.
Then the bottom of the box I made slightly smaller so it will fit in the lid. Except the sides of the box I made 1 1/2 inches tall instead of 1 inch. So my box is 3 7/8 then add 1 1/2 plus 1 1/2 for the sides. SO I made a square 6 7/8 by 6 7/8 and scored at 1 1/2 on all sides.
I hope this is making sense! I will try to draw a diagram tomorrow and update!LOL
I LOVE pink and brown together.
This stamp set Fun and Fast Notes didn't really grab me when I first saw it in the catty but it is growing on me!
The colors I used are, pretty in pink, regal rose, chocolate chip, and whisper white.
I used the SU markers to color my image and outlined it in bashful blue ink. I also added some dazzling diamonds. I used Velcro to close the ribbon on one end and a glue dot for the other end of the ribbon.
Hope all is well out in blog land!
