December 14 was my ?? birthday and I never celebrate it for a lot of reasons. I instead write a humongous check to Old Newsboys so local kids can have Christmas. That is the only way I celebrate anything this time of year. Well, I tried to tweak Santa's butt outside Hobby Lobby, but he was in a bad mood too, so I let him be. Maybe next weekend?

Happy Birthday!!! Sweet celebration candy you are sharing with blogland. I would love to make one of these sweet scrapbook tin for 2008 Valentine's memories.
One tradition we love to do is get together one night and go cruisin for Christmas light displays.
Thanks for a chance.

Happy Birthday! This is the season of birthdays...got 3 birthday's in the family. Even though I'm not a catholic, I love putting up the christmas tree. Decorating it and then running over to my friends place for some baked goodies (I suck at baking stuff).
Hope you have a great day!!

4. We sing Christmas carols before opening gifts on Christmas Eve. Yes, we open them Christmas eve. Christmas day is reserved for church services and celebrating the true meaning of Christmas.

Number 8 is great! ;-)
Our tradition is celebrating my daughter's birthday on Christmas Eve....when she was really little (will be 11 this year) she thought Santa came FOR her birthday ... like it was one of her gifts .LOL!

We'd love to win :)

Hey now--that's some great blog candy--red is my favorite color. My 5 year old had to share a family tradition in school, and he told the class about how we go to the "tree farm" each year to search and cut down our tree. Then he told them how it fell off the roof of the van last year on the way home...all 3 kids were yelling and crying, but we got it out of the ditch and it was fine!!

OMG this is the cutest blog candy!!! Thanks for sharing it with us!

My favorite holiday tradition is on Christmas eve we all get together and have dinner. One of the family members dresses up as Santa and hands out Christmas gifts to all the kids. It is so much fun to see the happiness on the little kids faces. We don't have as many little kids as we used to, but it is still a lot of fun!

Have a wonderful holiday! -Samantha

We just got back from one of my favorite traditions. We went to a living nativity with my 5 yr. old granddaughter and out looking at all the best Christmas light displays in our city. We had so much fun. The Living Nativity was extremely good and they even had real live 2-humped camels! I thought I might have to go to Iraq if I ever wanted to see those:)

Isn't shopping fun??? ;) We always had new PJ's to open on Christmas Eve. Now that I'm married, one of my favorite traditions is the Swedish Meatballs my MIL makes for Christmas Eve! They are so yummy!
