I am so out of the loop lately! I appoligize for not updating my blog on a more regular basis! I am going to try very hard to share stuff at least 3-4 times a week! So come back often!
So first off I want to share a very adorable card I made at a fellow Minglers house over the holiday!

I love everything about these cards! Are they adorable?

I made this today after cleaning up the mom cave from all the crafting I did before the holiday!

All supplies are SU and are either in the Occasions Mini or Saleabration!

Christmas Cards!

I decided this year to make smaller amounts of Christmas cards but make more designs! I get bored easily when I have to make more then 10 of the same card!
So here are a few of the cards I made this year!

This is a simple card and uses up any DSP scraps you may have laying around!

This is an adorable image and I used SU markers on watercolor paper to make them look like the shading of Copics! I think they turned out great!

This is another simple card. I used Cherry Cobbler to make the card look like the front door with a wreath hanging on it!

I saw something like this posted on SCS but revised it since I dont have the snowflake punch they used for the antlers! I used the leaves on the bird punch!
I think hes still cute!

This one I copied the layout off SCS because I have a hard time doing Clean And Simple cards! I love how elegant it looks!

2 more Stamp Camp projects

As promised here are the other two projects we made in class!

Next we made a card with the scallop square Big Shot die! Then we put the new in color Calypso Coral cardstock, and a piece of shimmer white cardstock that we stamped the Sweet for the Sweets candy on! We pop doted that candy bag up and added a sentiment! I think its adorable!

Then we made a mans birthday card with the Need for Speed stamp set! We used the Well Worn DSP, Island Indigo and Cherry Cobbler cardstock, circle punches and brads!
I think any boating enthusiast would LOVE getting this card, what do you think?

Stamp Class

I first have to apologize about neglecting my blog lately! I had a horrible accident May 14th and have been healing buy not really creating! Although I have to get back in the swing of things! So I had a class last night and LOVE the projects I created with stuff from the NEW Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog!

First they made 4 of these adorable nugget purses with the Sweets for the Sweet set and the Big Top Birthday DSP! We also used Poppy Parade Cardstock and Daffodil Delight taffeta ribbon. Arent they cute???

Then we made the center step card with the Up, Up and Away stamp set! We also used the Big Top Birthday DSP, Poppy Parade and Pacific Point cardstock! Its perfect for a girl OR boy birthday!

Junes Stampin' Up! Class

The New Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog will be coming out July 1st! How EXCITING!!! And so June 1st I will be sending out a retired list. If theres anything on that list you like, you will want to order that before July 1st or it may be gone forever!
Also My next class is Friday June 3rd at 10am or 6:30pm. You decide! You can come to one or come to both and make the creations twice! The cost is $15 which includes snacks, drinks and all the stuff to make the cards. All I ask you to bring is adhesive.

Mingle cards

OK so we had a Michigan Mingle in Novi where 50 stampin ladies get toegther once a year and stamp the weekend away! This was the fourth year, although I have only attended the last 3 years! The Michigan ladies I met online about 3 years ago are GREAT and I chat EVERYDAY with them on SCS! I love that I met them and get to know them more everyday by chatting online!
Although I get some looks when I tell people I met my "online" friends to stamp, like stampers could be serial killers!LOL But I love my friends in my computer to bits!!!

Top Note Die Calendar!

I found these cute little calendars and saw someone make one of these using the Top Note Die!
I also used the new set Nature Walk from the Occasions Mini!
And I used Botanical Gazzette DSP! Cut out the birdcage, taped the calendar on, and hung it on some seam binding!

I love how it turned out and hope to design some more using so Sew Suite stuff!

I decided to play along with SCS and this weeks color challenge!
I was very hesitant about the colors but dove in and got it done!

Here are the two other cards we made in my class on Friday!

This is like a card I saw on SCS. I liked the idea of stamping the background with a small stamp all over the paper and then running it through the Big Shot and the square lattice embossing folder! I love how that looks!
I used pear pizazz ink and cs, poppy parade ink and cs, and pink piorette ink and cs!
Tie some ribbon and add some elements with punches and thats my card!

And I liked this card out of the Occasions Mini so much I CASED it but changed up the colors alittle! I used wild wasabi, crumb cake and very vanilla. I added some fabric, antique brad, twine, seam binding and pearls to really make it look great!

Stampin' Up Class Projects

I had a class on Friday with some new items from the Occasions Mini!
I love how everything turned out! I hope you enjoy them!
This first one is a take on a swap I recieved from Leadership! I LOVE this set, Clearly for You, which I also received at Leadership!
I used Soft Suede, marina mist and crumb cake cardstock. I stamped the main images in 1 inch squares and then layered them on marina mist scallop squares. The images are popped up with dimensionals on a crumb cake layer and then on a soft suede layer! I used marina mist ribbon and some jewels to bling it out!

The next card can be used for just about anything but my goal is to use it for Valentines day! This set is great too from the Occassions Mini! Valentine Defined!
I used Riding hood red, blush blossom and wild wasabi SU markers to color the heart tree and then used the exlarge circle punch to cut it out. I stamped the hearts from Confetti stamp set in blush blossom on blush blossom cardstock. I ran the wild wasabi piece through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing folder and then tied real red taffetta ribbon around it and layered it on top of Riding hood red DSP. I used markers on the saying and added some bling to it! I love how it turned out!

Leadership

This past week I have been in Tennessee for Stampin'Up! Leadership!
What an amazing time my 2 girlfriends and I had! My post would be from here til tomorrow if I told you everything, so I will talk about a few exciting parts!
As you can see from my side bar I got to meet Shelli once again! She is wonderful!
We got great gifts/prizes, had awesome food, met wonderful new friends, met a few SCS stampers to put a face to a name and just had an all around amazing time!
Heres a few pictures to show you what I am talking about! Then I will share my two swaps that I made!

1. I am a stay at home mom of 4 kids and they are the most important thing in my life!
2. I have a very supportive hubby, that cares deeply for me!
3. I LOVE to stamp/scrapbook and try to ever chance I get!
4. I belong to the Michigan Minglers, a group of Michigan woman who all stamp or scrapbook and we get together a few times a year!Its a cool Group on SCS and I am proud to belong to it!
5. I try to help out at the kids school as much as I can, because they like to see me there plus I like helping the school anyway I can!
6.I am on of three kids but also one of 28 kids/inlaws to my hubbys mom and dad! My youngest daughter is number 42 of the grandchildren and 4 great grand babies have been born recently! We are a big happy family I must say!
7.I love to read and am very happy about getting a kindle for Christmas because I can read and store more books that way!
8.I am a licensed hairstylist and love doing hair even though I dont work in a salon anymore!

And finished up this card right before my 11 year old daughter got sick!BLECH
I really am going to spray everything down tomorrow with Lysol.
Hopefully the kids have school, since we have already had two snow days because we had a big snow storm here in Michigan. The snow day today was because it was so cold out and icy!

I punched out the scallop circle and embossed it with silver embossing powder!

Kids treats for the Christmas Party at school!

With 3 kids in elementary I have alot of treats to make!
30 per kids class=90 total! WOW
So I found these 1 in. x 8 in. bags that I saw at a mingler event I attended!
I am loving them! But had to find some creative choices to put inside since a few of my kids classes has peanut allergies!
So for my daughter in kindergarten I put plain M&Ms in!

My sons class treats I put twizzlers in (but wanted to use dipped pretzels but they wouldn't fit once dipped)! For his treats I didn't add the ribbon!

And then I wanted pixie sticks for my other daughters class, but settled on twizzlers too since I had a hard time finding enough pixie sticks!

Wicked Challenge

The challenge was to make a square card!
I also challenged myself by watercoloring! Not something I do alot or at all!

Actually my BFF showed me how to make them and now I am offering to show you all!They make great Christmas gifts, birthday or any occasion!! I am excited to let you know I am starting my Stamp Camps again! Friday August 27th is my next camp at 6:30pm at my house! And the cost is $15 for four projects! We will be working on some Halloween projects! With some NEW stuff from the upcoming Holiday mini! Which I will have for you to look at in anticipation of the holidays! I also have the New idea Book and catalog available for purchase! They are $5 unless you place a qualifying order of $50 (before tax and shipping) and then your catalog is FREE!!!!
I also have a Christmas Stamp a Stack scheduled for Friday September 24th at
6:30pm OR Saturday September 25 at noon! You just let me know WHICH day is best for you! I have 8 spots available each day and they are saved as a first come first serve basis! And you are also welcome to come BOTH days if you would like to make lots of Christmas cards! A stamp a stack is 12 cards (4styles, 3 of each style) and the cost is $25!!! My first SUO Scrapbook page!

Getting back from a Mini Convention with fellow Demos and friends Sunday has left me very thankful for my life! I have great friends and fellow Demos! I am also thankful for my mojo that has been flowing ALL weekend! Even after I got home!
This project is my first EVER Stampin' Up! scrapbook page! And of course I had to add pictures of my two bestest friends ever! Emma and Kim! I LOVE how this page turned out and cant wait to make more! I wish I had taken more pictures in Portage at the mini convention so I have memories (besides the ones in my head) of that weekend for ever!
Now on to the page........

I used the Watercolor Trio Stamp set and paired it with the Greenhouse Gala DSPaper!!!!
I also used Pumpkin Pie, Pear Pizzazz, Real Red, Baja Breeze and Soft Suede cardstock!
I used ribbon, a button, punches and dazziling diamonds on the flower layer!

This card turned out lovely! This is one of my favorites sets, Just Believe!Its a very versatile set!

I went to a friend/demos house the other day to work on some more samples for my Stampin' Up! Catalog Launch Party, and we got alot accomplished! We brainstormed all day and had a blast!
So I thought I would share a few cards with you!

This first card is using an awesome New Halloween stamp set from the catalog! I made the background with the web stamp from that set! The colors used are some of the NEW In Colors! Concord crush, pear pizazz, and Poppy parade! Aren't they just wonderful??

This card is using a new word set from the catalog! I also used Poppy Parade for this card. I am really loving this New In Color! And the ribbon is just great, isn't it??

This card was made using some of the Blueberry Crisp DSPaper! I love these colors together: Pacific Point and Sahara Sand. I think this DSP is one of my favorites!!

New Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog!!!!

I am LOVING the new catty from Stampin' Up!
I just received my goodies from UPS the other day and because of some medical issues I haven't had time to play! So instead of going downstairs, I had my girls bringing up whatever I needed to make these two cards!
These monsters are SO ADORABLE!!!! They make a great boy birthday card!I had alot of fun making this card! Not stressed what so ever!

I received my NEW Stampin' UP! Catalog and Idea Book along with my preview order last week! And boy am I excited! I am loving the catty and EVERYTHING in it! They did an awesome job!!! So tonight (and one day last week) I got a chance to play with my new stuff! Heres one of the cards I made with it!

Has it been a month since I have posted on my blog?
Sorry about that! Things are just hectic because the kids are close to getting out of school! But I AM going to get on top of things and start regularly posting to my blog, so please be patient and check back often!
Heres a card I made when I had some friends over!

This is the new in color Cherry Cobbler! Dont you just LOVE it!!!!

And here are two pictures of where I was this weekend!
A "few" friends and I went to Memories Manor B and B in St Clair Michigan! What a lovely time we had! I have been before and talked 9 other ladies into coming with me!WOOHOO this may just be a yearly event!

Stampin with Friends!

I got to stamp with some friends today and had a blast! So I thought I would share 3 of the 6 cards I made!
The first one is made with my new favorite set from the Occasions Mini! Elements of Style, and I used markers to color in the flowers!

The next card is a school card! I am thinking ahead already and have 3 of these made for the new teachers for my kids starting in September! I dont THINK I have ever been this early for anything! And I hope I remember where I put them so I can actually use them!

And the last card I made was with the Presto Patterns Specialty paper! I used a q-tip and inks to color the paper and used that as my image! I love how soft this card turned out!

Stamp Class

I had a wonderful stamp class last night!
The ladies loved the new techniques I showed them! This first one is called Stained Glass, and you can see a tutorial here on SCS!I used the new Elements of Style set from the Summer Mini! And I loved how this turned out! The vellum makes your colors muted so make sure you use a darker shade of what ever color you want it to turn out!

The next card is a stencil card and was inspired by my friend Debra! I never used them before Debra showed me how! And now I love them! This one is also spritzed with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint! Very shiny??!!!

Then we used markers to color the Watercolor Trio flowers to make this card!I love Ruby Red with Close to Cocoa! And just a touch of Blush Blossom!

The last project is a Birthday card made with Fox and Friends! I love this card because its simple yet still a great card to give to a kid!

*This is cased off of SCS but the colors have been changed!

OMGoodness Stampin' Up Goodies!

I recently got my first Stampin' Up Summer Mini Catalog preorder shipmentand got to ink up some things! I am totally lovin some of the new stuff!
Let me share two samples I made with you!

I used the Elements of Style for this card and colored it with inks on watercolor paper! I cut out the hummingbird and pop dotted him up! I need to work on my coloring for this stamp set, but I really LOVE this set!

This card obviously cant be mailed like this, but I had to try making this flower and I LOVE how it turned it! This is the Island Floral Bigz Die! These colors are very summery and I am glad I got this and all the "island" goodies to play with!

Stampin' Up! Announcement!!!

I am so excited to share a Stampin' Up! announcement with you! I know that sometimes we resist change, but I am so excited of this change and to move forward with YOU on this exciting news!!
Stampin' Up! is having a color renovation! It's a huge change and it's WONDERFUL and I cant wait! All of these changes will take place in the new catalogue beginning July 1st. SO, this means you have plenty of time to stock up on your favourite colors that are leaving us! Our color families are changing to new Color Collections which are: Brights, Neutrals, Regals and Subtles. There will be 40 core colors (rather than our current 48 + neutrals). This is GREAT news as it means we will have more accessories and "things" to match these colors! From these 40 colors, we are getting 5 brand new colors (Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze and Early Espresso) AND they are bringing back 10 of the retired In Colors, how fun is that! (Baja Breeze, Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette, Rich Razzleberry, Riding Hood Red, River Rock, Soft Suede, Tangerine Tango and Wild Wasabi).
As a demonstrator we will be able to preorder and enjoy these colors in June. Dont forget to email me if you have any questions about becoming an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator.
The current colors we will say farewell to are: Glorious Green, Green Galore, Gable Green, Yo Yo Yellow, Only Orange, Pink Passion, Pixie Pink, Orchid Opulence, Lovely Lilac, Brilliant Blue, Close to Cocoa, Creamy Caramel, Really Rust, Ruby Red, Cameo Coral, Summer Sun, Bordering Blue, Brocade Blue, Ballet Blue, Taken with Teal, Handsome Hunter, Pale Plum, Blush Blossom, Apricot Appeal, Barely Banana, Mellow Moss, Sage Shadow, Almost Amethyst, Lavender Lace, Basic Brown and Going Gray.

So, let's enjoy these next few months working with the colors that are leaving, stocking up on the favourites I hope you're as thrilled as I am with the new color change! Oh my goodness it has been so long since I have posted to my blog and I am truly sorry! I have been very busy and just haven't found the time to do it!
I went to the 3rd Annual Michigan Mingle in Novi and had a blast with my stamping friends! You will have to come back and see the things I made, gifts received from friends and the pictures of the fun we had!
So today I will share two cards I made using ALL Stampin Up stuff to send to some friends! I have really gotten into ALL Stampin Up stuff lately! I am trying to build my business and I really don't have time or money to invest into other stamp companies! PLUS I LOVE STAMPIN UP so very much!!!
The Occasions Mini will be coming to an end soon and the Summer mini will be out soon! I have seen a sneak peek and have ordered a few thigs that I will share with you when I get my order! I am so excited!

So here's the first card I made using the Upsy Daisy stamp set! I made this for a friend who bought me a cute little something for my new Net book! She is so very sweet to me so I had to send her a Thank you card!

I love using pink and chocolate chip together! Doesn't it look pretty??!!

The next card is for my roomies I had at the Michigan Mingle! They made me wonderful gifts, were awesome roommates, And are GREAT friends!

I love this set, which is new to me since I only ordered it during Saleabration! It was a FREE set for me! Isn't it cute?

2 challenges in one!

When I saw the Sketch Challenge today I knew I had to play along over at SCS!
So I was hoping I could tie in the Color Challenge in too, but I have a hard time with such Bold colors! Heres a look at my card

I think I did pretty good but it was a challenge for me for sure!
I loved this set in the catalog but have a hard time using it! Although I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig and it helped alot! I really forget about this handy tool!

Too much snow!!!!!!

So when I woke up this morning, I really thought the kids would have a snow day! But alas they didnt! There is at least 4 inches of snow and its still coming down hard!UGH
So while I had to be up and about anyway I decided to try the challenge over at SCS!

Sorry my photo is alittle cloudy! I need to get on my hubby to finish my photo box!
Anyway the challenge was paper piecing with punches! So punch art! I really am not all that creaive as you can tell by my card, but I love how it turned out! It will make a lovely card to send to a friend when I need it!

February Stamp Camp!

I thought I would share with you my stamp camp projects!
I have really been loving the stuff from the Occasions Mini and Saleabrations catty!

We started off with the box from page 39 in the Occasions Mini, in the mini it shows it with window in it, but I opted out of that and instead we used the Brick Wall Technique with the Upsy Daisy set! And I loved using the Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon with some Linen Thread through a Corduroy Button to finish it off!

The next card we made was the Vintage Vouge friend card!
I love these colors together: Crushed Curry, Dusty Durango and Melon Mambo!
I also used the Razzleberry Lemonade DSP! Throw some punches, sponging, and ribbon around and the card is finished!

Then we did a color on color technique! I love this card the most I think!
We used the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set and stamped it in Bermuda Bay on Bermuda Bay card stock! I decided to use the Happy Easter sentiment from the Well Scripted stamp set. Then went in with the Aqua Painter and some more Bermuda Bay and colored in the flower! With alittle white gel pen and some glitter the flowers really popped! Then we corner rounded a few edges, added some Throughly Modern DSP cut out with the Top Note Big Shot Die, polka dot impressions folder, and some photo corners from the punch and your card is finished!

Our last project was a friendship card made with the Great Friend stamp set!
I really like these colors together, especially the "pop" with just a smidge of Melon Mambo!

Another card I made when I had Mingler friends over this past weekend!
I LOVE having time with my friends! My friends are like my close family to me!

I had some Minglers over on Saturday (unexpectedly) or should I say at the last minute! I invited them over on Thursday or Friday when I found out my hubby was going to be working afternoons on Saturday! We had a blast but missed Emma! heehee
So after a long time of doing nothing! I looked though the Stampin Up catty and found a card on page 53 that I just loved the layout, so I followed it for this card!

I used Not Quite Navy, More Mustard, Old Olive, Very Vanilla and Bravo Burgandy!

Ways to Use it Challenge!

I had never participated in the Ways to Use it Challenge so I thought I would give it a go! The challenge was to use textiles on your card! And since I had just made myself some flower pins from the Big Shot Flower Folds Die I had some material left over! So I decided to cut out the Top Note Die with my Big Shot! I love this material I got from my local store.

Today I was at school the first half of the day! Not school for me, the kids school. I help out since I am on the PTO! So I never thought I would make it into my stamp cave! But after dinner I pushed myself and decided to participate in the Sketch Challenge over on SCS! So here is the Sketch from today!

I finally found my mojo and my desk top to boot!
So today I decided to try my hand at SCS Color Challenge and I threw in an old Sketch Challenge in too! I had alot of fun with it! I usually dont get a chance to do these because I have Ella home with me and stuff to do around the house, but I decided to let the stuff go for right now and create!
So her is my card!
The color challenge was Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink and Blush Blossom!

And the Sketch I used was number 261- and it can be found below!

I stamped the train on Very Vanilla cardstock without the saying underneath. Then I used Pretty in Pink and Blush Blossom to stamp Itty Bitty Backgrounds around the outside of the image. I colored the image and added Dazzling Diamonds to the train and hearts! And then I matted the image on Melon Mambo and Blush Blossom cardstock. I set that aside and then started on my background, which I stamped I {Hearts} Hearts on Pretty in Pink and Melon Mambo cardstock and then matted that on Blush Blossom cardstock and then taped that to my Melon Mambo base. After that I tied my Pretty in Pink satin ribbon in a knot. I placed my image in the middle of my card with Stampin Dimensionals. I then stamped my sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes on Very Vanilla cardstock and punched it out with the Word Window Punch and layered it on Melon Mambo cardstock punched with the Modern Label Punch. I then added a Real Red cardstock heart punched out with the Heart to Heart Punch and that finishes my card! Hope you enjoyed my card!

Stampin Up Upline meeting!

Yesterday I went to my upline meeting and had a great time! I love going so I can learn new techniques,see samples, hear from people that went to leadership, lots of fun stuff! We also participated in a shoebox swap. So I will show you my sample in a second. At this particular meeting my grandmother upline (I think that's what she would be) Sherrie had opened the meeting up to any orphaned demo in the tri-county area! So I invited some of my Michigan Mingler Demo friends! We had a blast chatting and giggling! Poor Sherrie though was so sick she couldn't make the travels to Michigan from Ohio to the meeting, I hope shes feeling better soon!
So here's my card you have been waiting for!

I used the I {heart}heart set from the Occasions mini! I am loving the new Satin real red ribbon! Isn't it yummy??? I also added a border by punching some regal rose card stock with the pinking hearts border punch! I punched some of the hearts and popped them up with pop dots after I stamped the love you much sentiment from the Well Scripted stamp set in real red on the card base. What do you think? Scrapbooking Again

As I promised yesterday I am posting some more scrapbooking pages I made while at my friends house! I hadn't scrapbooked in so long before this, I feel kind of rusty!LOL
Here are some more pages I made of my Memories Manor trip!
I put the rhinestones on the first page so it looks like a chandelier! Mind you I bought the rhinestones in that design already I didn't make it that way, but thought it was cool none the less!

The next set of pages is also from the Manor, but is not totally finished because on the second page I want to enlarge the picture since that is the only picture I am using on that page! I actually stamped on that page also, which I normally don't do very often!

Scrapbooking

I got to get together with two of my favorite mingler friends over the holiday at one of their houses for a chance of scrapbooking/stamping all day! It was so lovely! We had so much fun chatting, laughing, eating and scarpbooking/stamping!
So I thought I would share with you a couple of pages I finished while there!
This first set of pages is of my youngest daughter Ella at the beach! The problem I find though is I take SO MANY photos and feel I have to use them all I have a hard time finding a layout large enough to do that! So this page ended up without a title which I have NEVER done before!
I just love these pictures of her. I would really like to know what she was thinking, she has such and expressive face!

The next double page layout is from when I went to Memories Manor with some friends of mine! I absolutly LOVED that place and am actually in the works of planning another trip with some mingler friends of mine!WOOHOO

I love how these pages turned out, but I really am more of a "cutesy" kind of creator! I find anything serious or heritage very hard! But maybe because I feel so passionate about these photos is why I could create these pages!

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my scrapbooking which was my first passion!

Stampin' Up has the Occasions Mini coming out in a few days and Saleabration starts also! So here's alittle preview for you!
I decided to use the I {Heart} Hearts set from the Occasions Mini!

I used rose red, real red, pretty in pink and whisper white! I used the scallop border punch from the Saleabration catty! I also used the Well Scripted word set!
So what do you think?

New Stampin' Up stuff

Since the holidays are over I finally got to open and play with my Stampin' Up stuff that I pre-ordered! And let me just say I really am liking it! The clear blocks are awesome and very comfy in my hand! The cling mount stamps are lovely and hardly take up any room in terms of space! And the new punches well they are just so much lighter and not as bulky for packing to take places!
So I decided to make 2 cards for friends of mine I havent seen in awhile and I LOVE how they turned out!
I used Ruby Red, Handsome Hunter, and Cameo Coral!! I used the new set Vintage Vogue along with the matching wheel!I also used the paper patterns 3 hostess pack as my designer paper which I punched with one of the new punches!Hope you enjoy!

I finally got to my Christmas Cards! 55 cards ready to go to the post office! I made alot of different styles but this one was my favorite and was my newest stamp I bought! I love this cutey! So here is the image I colored with my copic markers!

Christmas is almost here and I have yet to finish all my shopping!
I wasn't always a last minute shopper but it seems every year it gets later and later.
Can you believe its almost here? Can you believe 2009 is coming to an end??
I hope 2010 is a better year!

As usual I need some gifts for teachers and I decided to use some gallon paint cans and make some relaxing winter day kits! They include a stamped candle (pictured below), hot cocoa packets, coffee mug, mini marshmallows, candy canes, and Hershey kisses.

Here's a picture of a decorated paint can!

I also made a smaller version for the crossing guards minus the candle and coffee mug using the pint size paint can! I love how they turned out! So cute. What do you think?

I cant even believe its November already! And soon enough Christmas will be here! I really have no excuses for not updating my blog except that it has fallen to the waist side since life has gotten in the way! I have had some back pain issues I am trying to work through and haven't really been creating too much!
But let me share what I have done! I had a Birthday Stamp a Stack and the ladies loved it!
So the first card is a girls birthday card!

Then a woman's birthday card!

And the boys birthday card!
But I realized I don't have ANY boy Stampin Up sets so I used this set and lots of boy colors! So I guess I know what I have to buy next!LOL

And I would show you the mans birthday card but I sent it out already before I could take a picture to a Mingler friends hubby for his birthday!

I would like to share I a card I made the other day as I was sitting in pain (due to my back) on my heating pad! I love this image from Darcie's Stamps! So I decided to color it with my Copics and make this card, but it took me so long I changed my mind on making it as my Christmas card this year! So someone real special will receive this one and only I made!LOL

Mini Mingle and Some Cards!

Saturday was an awesome day to be with friends since it was a dreary, rainy day here in Michigan.I attended the Mini Mingle and had a blast with some stamping friends!

This is another Christmas card that my ladies did at my Stamp a Stack class. Its easy enough for a mass production but very elegant!
I have to say by the time Christmas comes around I am sick of cards, so hopefully I will finish my cards ahead of time and be done with them far enough in advance so I don't have to worry about being sick of making them!
Last year things were so busy I didn't even send ANY! I was so bad! So this year I have to make up for it!

Supplies- Stamps-Christmas Punch set
Paper-Whisper White,Christmas Cocoa DSP
Ink-Real Red, Black, Old Olive
Accessories- scallop oval punch, pop dots, corner rounder, eyelet scallop border.

This card is super humongous! But it has to be because the cake stamp is super huge itself! But I absolutely LOVE this set! I bought this set at the Stamp Show in Novi in August when I went with some Michigan Mingle friends of mine! Its a Darcies stamp set!

I just love this time of year, crunching leaves, big comfy sweaters, apple cider, warm donuts, pumpkin picking, hay rides, haunted houses and time with the family!
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays!The kids love it too. They love to decorate and dress up!And I love to see them dressed up as well as their faces when they get that piece of candy they love!
Here's my first card! I love this cute little image I found at Archivers! Isn't he cute!
I colored him with my copics and I am loving them and getting better each time I use them if I do say so myself! LOL

This next card is a Christmas one that I cased the layout from Kathy Hildin (my 4th up line. I absolutely love this card! The tree is from Lovely as a Tree. I love that there is so many layers! And I love the Kraft paper. I just got Kraft paper from SU, and I am using it for everything!

Well its October 1st and its very cold here in Michigan! We had frost this morning and it feels like winter is here instead of fall! Its funny how some of the seasons are skipped here in Michigan!lol I do have the heat on so its toasty warm in the house! I guess we will see what happens, you never know we could have the air on next week.
So I got to create some things and you will see some new things here on my blog for the next few days! So be sure to check back often!
First I am going to share with you a Halloween card that can hold a gift card! This might be for a babysitter, a teacher, or an older child that doesn't trick or treat anymore. I re-created the gift card holder Shelli Gardner had on her blog awhile ago, since I rarely give a card that holds 2 gift cards!

Where does the time go, really? I mean, we are a busy family but the days seem to just fly by so fast Christmas will be here before you know it! Snow will be on the ground,UGH! So thinking of all of that is the inspiration for this card, plus looking in the SU Mini Catalog helps a bit. I tried to CASE the card on page 26 but change somethings to make it my own! I loved the papers and colors of that card! So let me know what you think of the change!

Trying to get in the Swing of things!

I have taken an aweful long break from blogging. Sorry about that but it was nearing the end of summer and I was taking a much needed vacation, then I had SU Regionals, and now the kids are back in school. So I am getting into a routine again and am very pumped up about SU! I am loving ALL the stuff in the mini and am happy to see it staying around for 4 months!
I will share my vacation pictures with you tomorrow! Thats a whole another post in itself! And though my vacation was awesome, SU Regionals was spectacular!!! Its the first event I have attended since being a demo and I am hoping to make it to Convention next year!So I have a few pictures of Regionals including the one I have posted of Shelli Gardner and myself at the top of my blog! I am sure you know who she is and if not let me just tell you it was SO COOL to meet the CEO and Co-Founder of Stampin Up!!!She was so gracious and very, very excited to meet us! I loved chatting with her!

This was us in the convention center right before the doors were set to open!
From left to right---Emma, Michele, Me(hiding in the back), Debra, and Tracy.
We had such a good time together, nothing like a girly road trip!!!

Now on to some cards!
The first card is something I saw at Regionals! How cute is this?? You use the Christmas ornament punch as a flower vase after you snip off the point at the bottom!!!!

The next card is a HAlloween one and I decided to try the Cracked Glass technique. I love how it turned out!

Stamp Camp part 2

So I did slack yesterday, sorry about that!
Here's the Christmas card we made at Stamp Camp!

Its a double slider which you can find the instructions here on SCS!
We also did Iris folding on the front of this card which is really fun. You can Google Iris folding and find all kind of patterns to make really cool cards!Here is a close up of the Iris Folding!

The next card is a birthday card pop up card using the Cake Pop-up die for the Big Shot!
Here's the pop up cake part!

I used the Voila stamp set and paper pieced his pants in chocolate chip, and colored his ascot and end of his sleeve in melon mambo. Then I added alittle of bashful blue to the plate after I stamped Happy Birthday on it!
I layered the image on razzleberry lemonade dp, then on brown, then on the card base which is Melon Mambo!

Stamp Camp Creations

Another Stamp Camp came and went, with a small crowd which was fun! We made Halloween and a Christmas card (more difficult) and a birthday card!
I hope everyone enjoyed themselves!
So I guess we will start with the Halloween card! I saw a version of the card on SCS and changed things up a bit!!

This is a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 card! I used dusty durango as my card base, then basic black, and then Cast a Spell DP on top of that! Then I layered a strip of Dusty Durango that I ran through the big shot with a CB spiderweb folder. We stamped the saying Happy Halloween on a piece of Perfect Plum cardstock which we taped under my main image which is stamped on Whisper white cardstock.The main image is the tree from House of Haunts stamp set which we heat embossed with black embossing powder and layered on black cardstock, which I cut with deckle scissors! I added a bow and that finished off the card!

Next the other Halloween thing we made was a purse matchbox!

Next we used the SU matchbox die and cut out the box part in black cardstock and the slider/lid piece in Cast a spell DP. We also used the same dusty durango ribbon from the card we made! I used Batty for You stamp set (which I love) and stamped it twice, once in black for the words, and once in perfect plum for the skull.We also added a strip of dusty durango once we used the scallop border punch and glued that on the front. Then we used the one inch punch to punch out the perfect plum skull and layer it with pop dots on the black skull which we punched out with the 1 1/4 punch. Then we layered that on a dusty durango 1 3/8 inch circle punch and added it to one of the Matchbox die labels!Once you add some DP to wrap your candy your all set!

Swiss Pixies

These have to be the cutest things I have seen in quite some time! I have fallen in love with the Swiss Pixies by C.C. Designs! I ordered these from All that Scraps, received them today and couldn't wait to play with them! This is Leisel & Her Wheelbarrow and she is adorable!

I colored the image with my Copics and with a few tips from Sandy last week at the Stamp show I think I am improving alot! She was very helpful and I am hoping to take a class from her and learn much more! You can check out her Blog here.

Some cards!

Since my room is coming together I am finally getting my creative juices flowing again! I still have more pictures of my room to share but its not yet finished so you have to wait on those, but I promise it will be worth the wait!

So on to my creations!
I got some new stamps at the Stamp Show at the Novi Rock Financial Center last Saturday with my lovely Mingle friends and I just had to play with them!

I found this new company that I have fallen in love with! Denami Design, we even met the owner/designer and she was great! Lovely lady to talk to and very talented!This is a very unusual Christmas card for me! Theres alot going on with the patterns but I am loving how it turned out!

Then the next card I made is so not me! I tried the stair step card which I have never done before and I decided to work outside my comfort zone and am not sure about the card or not!So you tell me (truthfully, because I can take it) how ugly or how pretty it is!

now its back to getting it organized! I have come to purge and throw alot of stuff out! Old magazines I haven't looked at in forever and have no intentions of looking at, so bye-bye!

This is the back wall behind my desk and its ruby red with the definition for Create on the wall!

This is the stairs from the right coming down and the bathroom door, the paint over there is very vanilla (like the rest of the room) and the definition is Share on that beam!

This is the back wall and the right side wall of my desk wall and it has the definition Inspire on that wall. I love how it turned out and is almost ( notice I said ALMOST) worth all the headaches of the flood!LOL

Last Stamp Camp for Awhile???? I hope not......

So I had my July Stamp Camp and am hoping its not my last one for awhile!
As you may know (or not) we had a flood in our basement which is where my craft room and classes are held. Well, things are dragging along by the insurance company, building company and everything so I am hoping things will be done in time to have my August Stamp Camp! Since the insurance company wanted to try and save the carpet (against my better judgement but you know we have to go through there channels) we are just now getting them to rip it up after two cleanings and a snag from the cleanings. So the walls are painted and are looking lovely! 3 walls are painted Very Vanilla and the other wall is Ruby Red (because I love RED) and I cant wait to get my Decor Elements to put up on the walls so I can take pictures to share with you all!

So on with why you came Stamp Camp creations!
We started out with a Christmas Card! I love the look of this layered with three stamped ornaments. One ornament stamped on the top note and two more stamped, cut out, popped up and layered on the top note! We also stamped the bow in versamark and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder!

And then another Christmas Card!This card is not really traditional Christmas colors but looks awesome! Very simple by coloring the saying with markers, "huffing", and stamping on paper.....Add some ribbon and DP....there you have a card!

Then a Thinking of you card that I CASED from someone on SCS! I found a card I liked a changed it up abit!Sorry the picture didn't come out so good! But I am loving how simple this card is. First off you cut 1 inch off the length of the front of the card.Then you add a strip of Choc chip punched with the eyelet scallop border punch!I also added a strip of Razzleberry Lemonade DP onto the inside of the card so it shows when you close the card. I also ran the card front thru the Big Shot and the Elegant Bouquet embossing folder. The Garden Greenhouse stamp set was used for the main image and the Sincere Salutations was used for the saying.

The last card is a birthday card!
I made this card a bit larger! 5 1/2 x 5 1/2. And I am totally loving these colors together! Old olive, rich razzleberry, and orchid opulence! I used the Cottage Wall DP and the stamp set Cheep Talk. I love how this card turned out especially with all the added doodling with the black and white pens!

I have again lost my mojo! I can seem to find it anywhere!LOL
I did get to make these two cards last week.
This first card I made with a Darcey set of stamps I bought at the Mega Meet back in May! Yes it took me this long to ink up the stamp set! Isnt he an adorable snowman??

This next card is a Wish RAK image and I dont think he is cute but I love the saying that goes with it! It felt really good to make these cards and I wish I could find my mojo so I could create some more!

Its not all about the kids!

I usually make all my scrapbooks and projects about my kids! The canvas I hung on my wall were my children and they all have their own scrapbooks, although I do scrapbook my hubby and I into them they are mainly about my children. So yesterday I sat down after walking around Archivers (trying to replace somethings lost in my flood disaster) and made something with just my hubby and I in mind! I found this really cool canvas frame for $4.99 at Archivers. This picture is from Easter 2007 and I am totally lovin how this turned out!
I love the color red (just incase you didnt know that) and the black and white went really well with the photo! I had alot of fun making this, and might even have more things in the near future that are geared around just him and I!

HMMMMM, wondering where I have been?

I haven't posted in some time and I am sure your all sitting on the edge of your seats thinking I have been doing something exciting! Well I did go away to Memories Manor for the weekend but I have also been dealing with a wet basement. We had a large storm come thru here just over a week ago which dumped lots of rain, power loss and in turn our sump pump not being turned on we got water in our basement. And not alittle water! I was completely devastated because all my scrapbooking/stamping supplies were down there.I have alot of stuff organized but I still had alot of stuff on the floor, which is a mistake I will never make again! So needless to say I have lost ALOT of scrapbook paper, a few totes, and some wicker baskets to water damage! Needless to say I had fun on my weekend away but I hated coming home to the mess we now call out basement!

Heres another Sugar Nellie I colored when I had my Mingle friends over! I love these cute little girls! I dont know who I am sending this too, but I am hoping to make some more of these cute cards when I am away this next weekend.
I am going on a scrapbooking retreat with girlfriends of mine up in St Clair! I am so excited because I so need a break away from the everyday routine! Plus I love spending time with my awesome girlfriends!
